Strapping machines can generally be divided into three categories:

  • Available in semi-automatic, automatic or automated versions. An individual pack strapping machine generally runs polypropylene strap from 5mm to 12mm.

  • Pallet strapping machines, available as stand-alone systems or can be integrated into packaging lines. Pallet strappers automatically detect and add strapping to pallets.

  • Used across a variety of industries, banding machines are a smaller economic solution with impeccable sealing technology for small-scale products & bundles, such as leaflets or boxes and parcels.

Our Range

SB / StraPack SQ-800 Automatic Strapping Machine

The StraPack SQ-800 is the latest generation automatic strapping machine from StraPack.  It features more efficient brushless DC motors, adjustable table height, a cycle counter and foot bar operation as key new features. The SQ-800 offers the same speed and reliability as its predecessor (the RQ-8x), along with the trademark intuitive operation and ease of maintenance that the market has come to expect from the StraPack RQ-8 series.

This machine is available with both a wide and a tall arch. This is ideal for larger-scale parcel applications, with arch ranging in size from W 650 mm, H 400 mm to W 3000 mm, H 2450 mm.

The StraPack SQ-800Y automatic strapping machine is ideal for heavy products; the weight of the product is on the conveyor, not on the strapping machine. The side-mounted head makes it ideal for applications where dirt and dust can be a problem. The StraPack SQ-800Y machine is easily removed from the conveyor system for servicing.

This machine is available with a wide arch and stainless steel options. This is ideal for larger-scale parcel applications like furniture as well as food, beverage, medical or pharma applications.

SB / StraPack SQ-800Y Automatic Strapping Machine

When you require a low conveyor height and a bottom seal strapping machine, the RQ-8LD low table model is the perfect machine.  The strap dispenser is fixed to the body of the machine, and the strap is fed automatically into the machine.

With a standard cabinet height of only 432mm, the StraPack RQ-8LD is unique – unlike side-seal machines, the package does not have to be shifted against the sealing head. Engineering modifications means that there are a variety of arch sizes available and the height can be reduced to as small as 345 mm, allowing full adaptability.

Products longer than approx. 914mm can be strapped automatically by integrating a StraPack RQ-8LD into a powered conveyor line. For shorter packages, it can be supplied as fully automated machines with powered belts on the table top just like the RQ-8A series.

SB / StraPack RQ-8LD Automatic Strapping Machine

The StraPack Akebono OB-360N is a high-speed paper and film tape banding machine for use in a variety of food and non-food industries including printing & graphics, banking, snack food, beauty, pharmaceutical and other packaging applications. Impeccable sealing technology eliminates curling, folding or peeling of tape edges. A larger dispenser is available as a customised modification.

SB / StraPack RQ-7000M Automatic Strapping Machine

The RQ-7000M is a stand alone automatic strapper ideal for moisture-laden meat, poultry and seafood processing environments, the corrosion-free StraPack RQ7000M automatic strapping machine is manufactured from stainless steel and waterproof materials.

The fully enclosed cabinet protects the components from water and spray, while the bottom of the cabinet is reinforced to provide extra protection. An internal heat lamp assists in evaporating moisture. The sealing head is side-mounted to protect it from moisture and residue.

The StraPack Akebono OB-360A is a high speed paper and film tape banding machine for use in a variety of food and non-food industries including printing & graphics, banking and pharmaceutical and other packaging applications.

The advanced design and features of the OB360A is now available with a conveyor belt to adapt to fully automatic lines. Large dispenser is available as an option.

The OMS FT-22 is a stand-alone, turntable pallet shrink hooding machine (also called thermo-shrink oven).  It features a gas-powered hot-air blower which will shrink pre-formed bags which have been previously applied to the packs manually. This end-of-line packaging machine has been designed for low-volume applications.

Compared to hand-held flame guns, the heat application is controlled, constant and repeatable, and there is no risk of the film being punctured which can occur when the film is shrunk manually.  It is also a safer process than using a flame gun, as the flames are contained within the blower assembly.

Smartwrap is an automatic stand-alone turntable pallet stretch wrapper with clamp and cutting system.
