It all began with an idea. An idea that came from a conversation the founders, Mark and Lee had, having been friends for a long time and always talked about starting a business together. With working interest being very similar in their own companies, joining forces to provide a wider service to clients was a natural progression.
With over 60 years’ experience between them, they have a wealth of contacts and resources to be able to provide a high level of service on any current or upcoming projects clients’ have.

Mark Sexton
Operations Director
Prior to Auxilium, Mark helped to run the family builder merchants for over 30 years which supplied to the construction and civil engineering industry. Alongside this, he also ran a facilities management business with a focus on janitorial and workwear supply.
Mark’s knowledge of products and services in the market is vast. Team this with his ability to understand projects, recommend and source the best solutions for clients
Outside of work Mark likes to spend time with family, relaxing with friends and watching the odd game of football and rugby.

Lee Sheppard
Customer Services Director
Lee has held director roles of businesses covering sectors in waste and recycling, construction and civil materials supply, facilities management and has a background of 20 years in consumer and corporate finance.
With a very hands-on approach, Lee will be found quite happily answering the office phones and engaging with customers to make sure services remain high.
Outside of work Lee enjoys playing golf, relaxing at the family caravan in Norfolk and walking his 2 dogs, Arthur and Ted with his Wife Emma,. He also enjoys watching grass roots football at Berkhamsted FC.
